Real Hope For Haiti (RHFH) was started in 2006 by the Zachary family and the Greenbriar Community Church of Indiana to serve the people of the rural village of Cazale, Haiti. RHFH has focused on health, community, and faith, and the RHFH Clinic provides preventative care, prenatal care, and primary care to the surrounding mountain communities of Cazale.
On average, the RHFH Clinic provides health care to approximately 2,000 patients a month and provides over 150 prenatal visits, with an average monthly birth rate of 20-30 babies born. The BEA Society is happy to support the RHFH clinic with infant layettes, including blankets, clothing, toys, diapers, and hygiene supplies, as well as medical supplies such as nasal cannulas for any babies born with respiratory problems and feeding tubes for tube feeds for undernourished neonates.
